The development and investigation of innovative nanomaterials stand poised to advance technological progress meet the contemporary demand for efficient, environmentally friendly, intelligent products. Hollow nanostructures (HNS), characterized by their hollow architecture, exhibit diverse properties such as expansive specific surface area, low density, high drug-carrying capacity, customizable structures. These elaborated structures, encompass nanospheres, nanoboxes, rings, cubes, nanowires, have wide-ranging applications in biomedicine, materials chemistry, food industry, environmental science. Herein, HNS cutting-edge synthesis methods, including solvothermal liquid-interface assembly self-templating methods are discussed in-depth. Meanwhile, potential biomedicine packing, biosensor, drug delivery over past three years summarized, together with a prospective view future research directions challenges. This review will offer new insights into designing next generation applications.

The significance of food nutrients and bioactive compounds in human health has driven the development many methods for their determination different matrices. Among these, electroanalysis gained popularity due to its cost-effectiveness, rapidity, and, cases, portability minimal sample treatment. This review highlights key advances electrochemical sensors biosensors from 2019 present. Given variability challenges managing matrices, focus is limited that have been thoroughly assessed applicability real samples. technical characteristics analytical performance proposed are discussed, along with breakthrough features future trends.

A highly selective, sensitive caffeic acid (CA) detection based on calcium oxide nanoparticles (CaO NPs) derived from extract of Moringa oleifera leaves decorated graphitic carbon nitride covalently grafted poly vinyl alcohol (CaO/g-C3N4/PVA) nanocomposite modified glassy electrode (GCE) was studied. facile sonochemical method adapted to synthesis nanomaterials and characterized by HR-TEM (High resolution transmission electron microscopy), FT-IR (Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy), XRD (X-ray diffraction), FE-SEM (Field emission scanning EDX (Energy dispersive X-ray analysis), Mapping BET (Brunauer-Emmett-Teller) analysis, electrochemical techniques. The GCE exhibited an excellent catalytic performance the oxidation CA under optimized conditions owing better transfer efficiency, conductivity high surface area material. present sensor showed selectivity towards determination 10 µM in presence 100-fold higher concentrations interferents. a wide sensing linear range 0.01 70 limit (LOD) found be 0.0024 (S/N = 3) 0.1 M phosphate buffer saline (PBS) as supporting electrolyte at pH 7.0. fabricated provides stability, reproducibility for CA. applied real blood plasma samples obtained good recovery (97.6-100.1%) results.
