The use of green buildings is an inevitable requirement for sustainable development. However, face the awkward situation a slow market share increase. This study explores changing strategies government and developers in promoting how they affect consumer acceptance, providing interdisciplinary theory buildings. Despite continuous advocacy for sustainable building construction (SBC), it is hardly implemented in Africa. There have been varied views on whether regulatory characteristics concerning SBC should be voluntary or mandatory. Experts recommend customising to fit the specific country setting. This paper confirms critical of implementing South Africa (SA) effectively. Using a structured questionnaire, data were collected from professionals built environment SA. In recent years, global climate and environmental issues have become prominent, making green housing a major focus. However, during the development of housing, there is tendency to prioritize design while neglecting operation. Alkaline rice straw fibers (ARSF), as a widely available and recyclable plant fiber source, can provide new insights for improving the mechanical properties of backfill treatment agricultural waste resources research.
