Purpose This study aims to examine how Brazilian universities have implemented the sustainable development goals (SDGs) in institutional practices, curriculum and teaching, management community outreach programs. Design/methodology/approach is based on content analysis of data sets higher education courses their link SDGs. ABSTRACT With the expansion of public buildings in China and rise carbon emission from energy consumption, it has become essential to improve efficiency building operation consumption reduce emissions. However, is not clear how optimally a holistic perspective. This study identifies factors impacting by reviewing existing literature establishes framework for illustrating interactions between identified factors. The validated through case university Beijing methods direct observation, instrument measurement, scrutiny building's records, simulating, fitting. demonstrates among factors, which include social economic technology environmental occupant behavior patterns, equipment. results reveal regarding electricity utilization intensity, illumination building, behavior. Issues of energy efficiency and sustainability in buildings are gaining increasing attention the context “3060” dual-carbon initiative. In recent years, nearly zero-energy (nZEBs) have emerged as a potentially viable solution to challenges crisis building sector, it is important study factors influencing their consumption carbon emissions. However, existing research lacks analyses multifactor interactions, problem high has not been sufficiently addressed. Taking typical residential Yangtze River basin subject, this study, jointly funded by University Nottingham Hubei Technology, proposes hybrid approach that combines simulation orthogonal experiments investigate pertaining buildings, people, environment identify key explore emission characteristics hot summer cold winter (HSCW) zones. Our findings reveal following: (1) The use renewable sources, such solar photovoltaic power generation water, systems ground-source heat pumps, operation phase baseline can result 61.76% energy-saving 71% utilization rate. (2) To more easily meet requirements nZEB standards, recommended keep KE within range 0.20–0.30 W/(m2·K), KR 0.15–0.20 VT 0.6–0.7 h−1. Current building techniques in developing countries have become extremely critical. The net-zero energy concept has emerged as an essential strategy for minimising consumption and greenhouse gas emissions. However, its implementation, particularly countries, remains a critical challenge. purpose of this work is to assess the feasibility achieving by combining energy-efficient design practices renewable systems under climatic conditions Republic Congo. To achieve stipulated objectives, DesignBuilder software was utilised modelling, load assessment multiobjective optimisation efficiency measures, multicriteria carried out using HOMER tool. results showed that implementation measures resulted 39.15% savings, 43.45% thermal savings 55.68% discomfort hours reduction. Furthermore, system can provide 100% building’s total 3341.84 kgCO 2 eq/year. system’s levelised cost estimated at 0.256 $/kWh, with net present $20,231, while overall life cycle calculated 188.91 $/m .

Several studies have shown that social housing in Brazil usually fails to provide thermal comfort its occupants. This study aimed define energy efficiency measures for a representative model to, together with local production of renewable energy, achieve the nearly zero-energy target. No contexto das mudanças climáticas e da Agenda 2030 Organizações Unidas (ONU), a eficiência energética em edificações é um tema essencial na redução do consumo de energia emissões gases efeito estufa. O objetivo deste estudo simular o impacto fotobiorreatores como elementos sombreamento aberturas edifício educacional no sul Brasil, através modelo digital construção software luminotécnico, avaliando disponibilidade iluminação natural as possibilidades aplicação, etapa integrante prototipagem dos fotobiorreatores. Três cenários foram elaborados para verificação estratégias proteção solar: primeiro cenário sem utilização proteções, segundo utilizando os paralelos às esquadrias, uma segunda esquadria terceiro brises-soleil, ângulo relação esquadrias. Os brises podem contribuir carga térmica não seriam completamente opacos, portanto, prejudicariam incidência luz ambiente. Como estratégia eficiência, solar permitirá maior pelo condicionamento térmico, se comparado ao desligamento luminárias próximas janelas por aproveitamento natural. A aplicação poderá ter impactos positivos edificação, além permitir sequestro carbono, integrando conceito Net Zero Carbon Building.

A pesquisa a respeito da aplicação de microalgas em edifícios está relacionada com um projeto mais amplo, compreendendo os aspectos relacionados ao conforto ambiental dos espaços acadêmicos e o consumo energia geração fotovoltaica on-grid, bem como investigação alternativas para melhoria do desempenho construtivo das envoltórias edificações. Objetiva-se, assim, conceitos interdisciplinares envolvendo Arquitetura Biotecnologia, que se denomina Black/Dark Ecologies “novo” interesse investigativo fim explorar uma “nova” natureza, não apenas espaço arquitetônico, mas sim enfoque amplo. Esta relação materializa na utilização fotobiorreatores fechados microalgas, instalados nas fachadas edificações uso educacional. O presente trabalho apresenta recorte metodológico pesquisa, baseado revisão bibliométrica, estudos casos propostas modelo específico. Além térmico energético, estas estratégias permitirão sequestro dióxido carbono outros emissores contribuem processo mudanças climáticas; coincide assim discussões cenários 2050 redução emissões, pautas discutidas recente COP-27.
