Abstract Solar energy offers several environmental, economic, and security advantages. Parasitic parameters shading on solar panels can reduce efficiency. This paper presents a bio-inspired Enhanced Slime Mold (ESM) algorithm search strategy to find the optimal power point by simulating behaviour of slime molds in virtual environment. In panel, proposed ESM provides not only for parameter extraction but also serves as Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) during Partial Shading Conditions (PSC). Proposed dynamic is examined under irradiation various temperature conditions. The effectiveness technique has been validated extracting from conventional polycrystalline monocrystalline modules form 5S-5P arrangement. instance MPPT operation, compared with Ant Bee Colony Perturb& Observe (ABC-PO) determine its efficacy. This paper investigates enhancing the efficiency of solar water pumping systems (SWPS) by implementing a Maximum Power Point Tracking technique based on Bat Metaheuristic Optimizer (MPPT-bat) for photovoltaic generator (PVG) side, coupled with Direct Torque Control (DTC) induction motor powering pump. Unlike traditional techniques, which make no compromise between tracking speed, oscillation and robustness. The integration MPPT-bat represents significant advance, making it possible to improve PVG performance whatever weather conditions. main objective remains energy this type application maximizing electrical power allocated SWPS. At same time, DTC controller applied pump aims optimize use generated MPPT-bat. intelligent approach adjusts according extracted from PVG, thus avoiding inappropriate profiles system. study confirms that optimizing SWPS using DTC, significantly improves overall performances in terms error, oscillations, speed robustness, promotes more efficient rotation and, consequently, increases flow rate pumped water, these improvements persist under different climate

This article extensively analyses PI, Type-2, and Type-3 controllers in interfacing converters, specifically focusing on boost interleaved-boost converters. The primary objective is to enhance regulation within a standalone microgrid system integrated with photovoltaic (PV) sources. analysis encompasses various aspects of regulation, including line load reference tracking, parametric sensitivity analysis. initial phase the study involves examining using small-signal modelling continuous conduction mode (CCM). This paper studies the problem regarding optimal power dispatch of photovoltaic (PV) distributed generators (DGs) in Direct Current (DC) grid-connected and standalone networks. The mathematical model employed considers reduction operating costs, energy losses, CO2 emissions as objective functions, it integrates all technical constraints implied by DC grids a scenario variable PV generation demand. As solution methodology, master–slave strategy was proposed, whose master stage employs Antlion Optimizer (ALO) for identifying values to be dispatched each PV-DG installed grid, whereas slave uses matrix hourly flow method based on successive approximations evaluate functions associated with proposed within iterative process ALO. Maximum power generation from solar modules is adversely affected by partial shading conditions. To strengthen and obtain feasible output under any complex shadings, a new double diode model with deterioration factor (DDM-DF) proposed for the optimal selection of patterns. It used to validate effectiveness novel heuristic approach called time-distance-constrained topology (D-CT). The D-CT compared conventional techniques (bridge link (BL), series-parallel (S-P), total cross-tied (TCT)), puzzles (sudoku (SDK), magic-square (M-SP)), recently reconfigured (permutation-combination (PCR), knight-tour (KTR)). In this paper, experimental study validates outcomes obtained MATLAB/SIMULINK results various realistic shadings. Experimental prove that enhances efficiency 5.45%, 3.57%, 3.54% over TCT, PCR, KTR inverted-L shading. Further, minimum maximum mismatch loss reduced up 1.90% 97.61% top against SDK S-P respectively. real-time validation 4×4 pi diagonal exhibits greater performance parameter enhancement array subjected shadings in correlation other models.
