The underground power houses of pumped-storage stations (PSPSs) are highly complex, with interconnected and multidimensional structures, including various tunnels, such as the main auxiliary (MAPH), transformer tunnel (MTT), tailrace gate (TGT), access tunnels (ATs), cable (CTs) etc. During intensive civil construction electromechanical installation, fire risk becomes particularly prominent. Current research mainly examines incidents within individual lacking comprehensive analyses smoke spread across entire cavern network. Therefore, in this study, a numerical model complex PSPS was established to analyze behavior temperature distribution under scenarios. results indicated that when occurred MAPH, relatively higher compared fires other places. Using example from MAPH MTT, process through key connecting caverns analyzed. Initially, velocity were stable, CTs traffic powerhouse (TCTAP) paths. After 7 min, heat release rate (HRR) became ATs paths for spread, which could provide reference improving design systems.

Propelled by worries about climate change and global warming Photovoltaic panels installation has gain prominence in recent times worldwide due to its affordability cleaner nature when compared other renewable energy sources. Many people have switched solar PV installations as a result of this. A thorough understanding the orientation tilt angles panel relation sun radiation it receives is essential for optimizing design any system best performance. In Brikama, West Coast Region The Gambia, this work ascertains ideal angle orientation. This was accomplished contrasting outcomes mathematical model with experimental data gathered at same location during months year using module (Model AP-120) made Astro Power, Inc., Delaware, USA, single-axis tracker technology. While approach yielded within range 9.10°–22.30° mean value 15.50°, obtained varied from 5.10° 28.20° an average 14.80°. According generated power study, panel's maximum measured 30° South angle, resulted 3.6–48.1W. indicates that gathering efficiency better horizontal position. To maximize collection photovoltaic systems, these findings are vital. systems should be installed carefully since they generate lot sun's rays 90° pointed directly toward sun. Solar engineers or workers advised install 15° facing south. method described study can used predict incidence on deployed another place.
