Correcting factor market distortions is an important means of improving the green innovation efficiency (GIE) manufacturing industry. Based on 2005–2019 panel data from 30 Chinese provinces, this study uses system generalized method moments model to explore impact such GIE The results indicate that these significantly inhibit improvement industry and capital distortion (DistC) has a greater inhibitory than labor (DistL). Effective government intervention can alleviate distortions, thus promoting This finding consistent with our obtained under influence level economic development. Significant carbon emissions, a key contributor to global climate warming, pose risks ecosystems and human living conditions.
