The green and intelligent transformation of the manufacturing industry has become focus attention in various countries. Purpose To incentivize Chinese manufacturing enterprises to increase input in intelligent transformation, the government typically offers financial and tax incentives as policy support. However, mechanisms by which these joint tax-subsidy policies affect transformation of enterprises, optimal design have not been thoroughly explored yet. address this gap, study aims explore combination subsidies at different stages China maximize implementation efficiency incentives. Design/methodology/approach In study, a differential game model involving departments is constructed using theory. It explores boundary conditions dynamic that guide effective foster transformation. Intelligent transformation plays an important role in enhancing innovation capabilities. This study utilizes data from 5000 A-share firms China to investigate the effects of intelligent on capability and elucidate underlying mechanisms. We find that (1) there is a positive relationship between capability. Furthermore, pursuing profit maximization sustainable competitive advantage drives capitalize technological dividends enhance substantive (2) affects structure through mechanism total factor productivity market competition.
