ABSTRACT In the midst of global push for environmental protection and sustainable development, supply chain digitalization (SCD) has become a key enabler both operational efficiency green production. The existent literature, however, mainly focused on SCD's impact efficiency, neglecting its role in advancing sustainability through total factor productivity (GTFP). This study addresses this gap by examining how SCD influences GTFP, directly indirectly via mechanism resilience (SCR). Data from Chinese A‐share firms between 2013 2023 was analyzed using comprehensive double machine learning approach, revealing significant positive GTFP crucial SCR relationship. Heterogeneity analysis further indicated that ability to improve is most pronounced state‐owned firms, heavily polluting industries, economically developed regions, adding an original dimension findings.
