The transition towards renewable energy has increased the importance of virtual power plants (VPPs) in integrating distributed resources (DERs). However, questions remain regarding most appropriate auction mechanisms (pay-as-bid (PAB) versus pay-as-clear (PAC)) and imbalance penalty structures, which significantly influence VPP bidding strategies market operations. This study employs a three-stage stochastic programming model to evaluate behaviors under these while also considering effects structures. By simulating various scenarios, results reveal that PAC markets offer higher revenues due settlement at market-clearing price; they exhibit greater volatility elevated penalties. For instance, deviations were 52.60% than PAB specific cost ranges differed by up 82.32%. To achieve the dual carbon goals, countries are transforming their energy structures, with green electricity trading playing a pivotal role in this transition. This paper first analyzes mechanisms and current state of trading. A bibliometric analysis was conducted using keywords “green power” electricity” on 2427 articles from Web Science core database (1984–2024). CiteSpace software 6.3 R1 used to analyze publication volumes, contributing countries, co-citation patterns cited references, highlighting foundational research field. deeper recent five-year trends reveals focus renewable energy, low-carbon policies, relationship between economy environmental development. study finds that has become growing theoretical hotspot. ABSTRACT The large‐scale expansion of vehicle‐to‐grid (V2G) technology requires the full support electric vehicle (EV) users. However, existing studies lack a comprehensive review V2G acceptance, especially preferences and attitudes potential consumers.
