fleets.
Amid
global
efforts
to
reduce
CO2
emissions

improve
urban

quality,

two-wheelers

the
most
convenient
mode
of
transportation.
But
at
same
time,
these
vehicles
consume
more
fuel
and
produces
emissions
in
urban
driving.
This
work
is
aimed
developing
a
hybrid
two-wheeler
for
reducing
consumption
by
incorporating
electric
vehicle
technology
conventional
two-wheeler.
The
scooter
(HES)
made
consisted
an
hub
motor
front
wheel
as
prime
mover
electrical
system.
powertrain
HES
was
built
using
parallel
structure.
system
engaged
during
startup,
low
speeds,
idling,
with
simple
switch
facilitating
transition
between
systems.
fabricated
tested
through
trial
runs
various
operating
modes.
Before
conversion
to
system,
achieved
mileage
34
km/liter.
After
conversion,
combined
power
sources
resulted
overall
55
km.
It
observed
that
voltage
supplied
increases
proportionally
speed.
