Engineered substances that demonstrate superior properties compared with conventional materials are called advanced materials. Thermal energy storage systems based on phase change (PCMs) offer an eco-friendly solution to reduce fuel and electricity consumption. PCMs compounds can store thermal in the form of latent heat during transitions. Green synthesis core/shell composite is environmentally friendly method for producing these materials, focusing reducing consumption, minimizing use harmful chemicals, utilizing biodegradable or sustainable methods typically involve natural solvent-free techniques, green solvents, biomimetic approaches, energy-efficient processes. This review explores like techniques production, highlighting their role regulation buildings. Special attention given derived from biomass be used as precursors PCM synthesis. The transition towards sustainable energy systems demands efficient utilization of low- and medium-temperature thermal sources, which offer a promising alternative to pollutant carriers like fossil fuels. Among these, solar thermal, geothermal, residual heat emerge as leading candidates for clean generation. Organic Rankine Cycles (ORCs) stand out robust technologies capable converting these sources into electricity with high efficiency. A critical factor in ORC performance lies the effective transfer from source working fluid. This study systematically evaluates various oils intermediate media, aiming optimize their selection based on key indicators. analysis focuses exergetic efficiencies, alongside mass volumetric flow rates both fluid oil. findings reveal that integration notably boosts efficiency system, underscoring pivotal role maximizing conversion sources.
