Decision-makers, researchers, practitioners, and stakeholders often struggle with selecting prioritizing strategies to manage climate change risks. While recent research extensively explores this issue, the emphasis has largely been on regions other than Africa. This is significant, considering Africa’s anticipated exposure various severe impacts of change. study applied a two-stage model that integrates Step-Wise Weight Assessment Ratio Analysis (SWARA) Weighted Aggregated Sum Product (WASPAS) methods within unique framework under influence spherical fuzzy (SF) conditions. In initial stage, SF-SWARA determines relative importance criteria, while subsequent stage involves SF-WASPAS method rank strategies. most critical challenges are limited access finance inadequacies in data, scenarios, impact models, solution be considered promotion well-coordinated capacity-building programme. Abstract The Fermatean Fuzzy Set (FFS) theory emerges as a crucial and prevalent tool in addressing uncertainty across diverse domains. Despite its recognized utility managing ambiguous information, recent research lacks comprehensive analysis of key FFS areas, applications, gaps, outcomes. This study, conducted through the Scientific Procedures Rationales for Systematic Literature Reviews (SPAR-4-SLR) protocol, delves into an exploration literature, reviewing 135 relevant articles. documents are meticulously analyzed based on their integrated methodologies, Aggregation Operators (AOs), linguistic sets, extensions. Additionally, thematic analysis, facilitated by Bibliometrix tool, is presented to provide nuanced insights future directions areas within literature. study unveils valuable findings, including integration variables with interval-valued FFS, fostering robust environments dynamic decision-making—a mere glimpse potential research. gaps section further articulates recommendations, offering structured foundation researchers enhance understanding chart studies confidently.

The resilient food supply chain (RFSC) has been identified as an effective model for mitigating (FSC) risks. However, there exist many barriers impacting the implementation of RFSC. Further, previous studies seldom utilize integrated decision models identifying and ranking to implementing RFSC within uncertain environments. Thus, study establishes interval-valued Fermatean fuzzy (IVFF) framework identify rank these barriers. is classified into four stages. First, interaction between preference information, we introduce IVFF-prioritized weighted average (PWA) operator collect this information. Then, IVFF-CRITIC method proposed calculate barrier weights considering their inter-correlation relationships. Next, IVFF-PWA are incorporated PROMETHEE-II levels alternative participation in FSC. a case about analyzing employed test effectiveness practicality presented framework. result shows that processing company (priority: 0.161) highest level. findings article may offer support stakeholders industry.

Abstract In the circular economy era, this study addresses sustainable business management for high-investment and long-life cycle projects, where accurate reliable assessments are crucial to ensuring successful outcomes. The objective is elevate reliability of by introducing a novel decision-making method that, first time, integrates time-based satisfaction risk factors simultaneously. We propose 3-phase multi-criteria (MCDM) method, which combines fuzzy MCDM comprising analytic hierarchy process technique order preference similarity ideal situation (TOPSIS), Kano model, failure mode effects analysis (FMEA) techniques, handle effectively. Our distinct in its incorporation weights derived from emphasising decision-makers’ criteria preferences short, medium, long terms. Furthermore, we introduce risk-discounted using FMEA tune scores. validated via numerical example case, assessing selecting most appropriate hydrogen storage lightweight vehicles. results suggest that cryo-compressed tank with 250–350 bar at cryogenic temperature suitable method. Health & safety weight 0.5318 emerges as important main criterion, permeation leakage 0.4008 sub-criterion. The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) with human (HI) has been asserted to provide transformational power across the humanitarian supply chain (HSC). However, there is little rigorous work that analyses enablers promote AI–HI and application in HSC. Thus, this paper reports a hybrid decision support framework for analysing HSC complicated, uncertain, periodic information.
