The practical application of micropiles in landslide reinforcement and prevention advanced before theoretical research, significantly limiting their promotion. To determine the damage patterns stress distribution during sliding failure reinforced shallow landslides, three sets physical modeling tests were performed. These examined stability soil slopes with without micropiles, including single-row three-row configurations. During tests, foot displacement landslide, top strain within monitored throughout loading process. Following was excavated to observe micropiles. experimental results showed that pile-soil composite structure formed by rows together between them, improved demonstrated effective anti-sliding effects. curve micropile inversely S-shaped, peak located near surface. Within group, first row exhibited highest stress, nearest free face experienced greatest displacement. Through micropile-reinforced we identified stages slope’s process pattern research findings offer valuable insights into mechanism which can guide design construction.

So as to extend the application of upper bound limit analysis for slope stability in open-pit mine, this paper analyzed failure mechanism rock mass when shear occurred based on plastic mechanics principles, and combined with discrete mathematical theory least square principle propose a visualization method logarithmic spiral. At same time, was applied engineering practice cycle algorithm mine proposed through energy balance conditions, then results were evaluated reasonably uniting equilibrium method. The show that spiral is highly consistent original curve, can ensure correlation coefficient greater than 0.9995. What more, has superhigh accuracy engineering. most dangerous sliding surface obtained by satisfy requirements velocity separation, which solved problems during process evolution. Therefore, stronger field mining.

In landslide studies, particle size is a key quantitative indicator, reflecting the formation and development of sliding zone. It plays crucial role in understanding mechanisms evolutionary processes that lead to occurrences. Precise measurement crucial. This study centered on soil samples from Lanniqing Southwest China. To begin, seven distinct methods were used preprocess samples. Next, frequency distribution was measured using Mastersizer 2000 laser analyzer. Key parameters, including median size, mean sorting coefficient, skewness, kurtosis, then compared analyzed determine most appropriate preprocessing method for evaluating characteristics The mechanism occurrence subsequently by examining characteristics, mechanical properties, mineral composition results suggested C provides reliable analysis observed coarsening coarse particles, along with significant increase clay content within zone, indicates surface has undergone multiple shear compression events. interplay upper traffic load slope cutting at front edge set stage landslide, prompting initial potential surfaces. Rainfall acts as catalyst instability. high content, combined low-permeability layer rich minerals surface, leads excessive pore water pressure lubrication. These factors inherently trigger accelerate landslide.
