The current investigation proposes an enhanced finite element beam model to assess the dynamic behavior of functionally graded sandwich beams with variable cross-sections. By integrating shear effect, this integrates both C0 and C1 continuities generate elementary matrices using efficient three-unknown deformation theory. focuses on advanced material face-sheets metallic cores, exploring various geometric arrangements. originality study addresses cross-sections in beams, evaluating influence composition configurations free forced vibration responses, including different boundary conditions. methodology uses eigenvalue method for examining applies Newmark's algorithm solving problems. expands scope analysis compared previous models that primarily focus uniform conventional distributions. developed incorporates non-uniform geometrics, gradient parameters, enhance precision efficacy through detailed parametric investigations comparisons existing literature. This contribution significantly improves mechanical modeling composite structures, particularly those incorporating materials complex geometrical aspects.

One of the best effective nondestructive methods to predict buckling load imperfection sensitive thin-walled structures is vibration correlation technique (VCT). Although this can determine for conventional without reaching instability point, it still under development new and materials. Moreover, few studies have addressed analytical aspects VCT as revisited in literature review. This paper presents a novel formulation numerical investigation functionally graded porous nanocomposite cylindrical shells reinforced with graphene platelets (FGPNCS-R-GPLs) uniaxial load. In section, governing equations an axially loaded FGPNCS-R-GPLs are derived using modified Halpin–Tsai micromechanics approach, FSDT, Rayleigh-Ritz method. linear analysis, free nonlinear analysis axial load, performed. After validating models, obtained its result compared by results more reliability credibility. The demonstrate that maximum difference between predicted approach corresponding loads less than 3.5%. Furthermore, proposed provided good estimation especially when applied greater 73.8%
