Adopting Renewable Energy Systems (RES) in Multi-Owned Buildings (MOBs) is critical for achieving sustainability goals, yet the equitable allocation of energy from a jointly-owned RES to individual apartments remains overlooked practice and literature. Current practices, rooted models common cost allocation, fail address dynamic traits disregard entitlement each apartment, necessitating tailored approach renewable MOBs. This paper emphasises introduces novel, evidence-based decision-making framework assessing nine distinct their suitability diverse MOB typologies, characterised by physical social factors, presents ranked list. Our findings reveal extensive variation model depending on building typology. Equal minimised financial disparities, while demand-based was significantly effective older, mid-rise buildings with fewer tenants. Conversely, flat-fee found unsuitable regardless type. Furthermore, study demonstrates that suitable typology may not always align objectives installation, thus endorsing an 'objective proximity' analysis. The proposed serves as valuable guide stakeholders, including owners' corporations, policymakers, industries, make well-informed decisions smooth transition energy. An important development in decarbonising energy consumption is the installation of shared rooftop photovoltaics on multiapartment buildings. It widely agreed that distribution this relatively cheap electricity should be "fair" to all users, and simultaneously maximise local use, reduce global CO2 emissions grid load. Most technical studies model or investigate patterns basis, but without critical reflection justice issues arise sharing a common source. Over the past decade, different economic incentives have been created to increase investments in solar photovoltaics (PV). Although research outlines that investors renewable electricity technologies (RET) are heterogeneous, policies not taken this into account when designing subsidy programs. This paper aims analyse relationship between policy and willingness invest PV systems for investor groups, including households, companies, associations, public organizations. Using data from all applications capital program Sweden 2009 2021, we impact of level on over time. Our analysis shows has had a positively significant households private companies as groups. However, also found other variables significantly positive or negative effect stresses need going "one size fits all" better adapted characteristics. Fifth-generation district heating and cooling (5GDHC) systems have the potential to provide simultaneous cooling, allowing for energy exchange between users with different needs. However, their viability in mild climates a higher share of demand remains unclear. In this paper, we propose framework assessing engineering, economic environmental performance 5GDHC system compared state-of-the-art business-as-usual solution demonstrate it through practical case study university campus Melbourne, Australia. This study evaluates alternatives using the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and Fuzzy AHP (FAHP) methodologies across five scenarios (SC1 to SC5), aiming compare effectiveness of both approaches in integrating environmental technical criteria. The results indicate that, SC1, assigns weights 14.35% A1 16.22% A2, while FAHP demonstrates greater dispersion, highlighting A6 with 35.22%. In SC2, prioritizes 14.16%, whereas increases weight criterion 21.18%. SC3, remains preferred option methodologies, close 34.00% for 32.98% FAHP. SC4, methods show similar trends, standing out at 11.12% A4 34.87%. Finally, SC5, allocates 8.52% A1, it 10.73%. findings suggest that allows sensitivity variations sub‐criteria, enabling a more precise evaluation aligned sustainability objectives. significance social criteria underscores necessity incorporating sustainable into decision‐making processes. Building-integrated photovoltaic systems (BIPVs) is a strategy to achieve energy self-sufficiency in buildings. However, (PV) production presents challenges due its intermittent nature, characterized by variations and uncertainties associated with solar radiation interference from the building’s surroundings. Therefore, building information modeling (BIM) enables simulations performance analyses during design phase of In this context, paper aims identify key strategies for integrating BIM how these approaches support development sustainable projects. A systematic literature review was conducted, combined bibliometric analysis, content coding 63 articles.
