Environmental degradation is one of the major global problems. This because, like many other regions in world, OECD countries also contribute to warming by using non-renewable energy sources speed up economic growth. Although ICT promotes globalization, no prior research has examined how this trend may affect CO2 emissions countries. Given scenario, current study aims examine impact Information communication technology, human capital, and globalization on environmental economies from 1990 2018. The present employs second-generation panel econometric techniques, i.e., unit root tests (CADF CIPS), Westerlund co-integration technique, cross-sectional ARDL, AMG. results confirm that ICT, renewable consumption, capital help bring sustainability However, variables growth, consumption lead increase degradation. Finally, it suggested investments sector must be subsidized promote online businesses incentivized through heavy tax relief.

The Paris Agreement and COP27 have been actively working towards a transition to clean energy (SDG-7) the restoration of green environment (SDG-13). Therefore, this study was situated within comprehensive policy framework. This aims investigate effects environmental governance economic complexity on in 20 OECD countries selected for analysis from 1990 2021. employs novel MMQR model account slope heterogeneity cross-sectional dependency. Additionally, an asymmetric conducted examine mediating moderating roles geopolitical risk relationship between governance, complexity, transition. primary findings indicate that (1) stimulating effect at different levels quantiles. Strict policies played critical role energy. Furthermore, interaction factors negatively impacts various quantiles; (2) demonstrates positive association with transition, as high possess necessary resources, capabilities, resilience effectively address challenges seize opportunities associated transitioning cleaner more sustainable sources. However, geopolitics transforms influence into negative nonparametric panel Granger causality test establishes significant causal relationship, revealing can support by creating favorable adoption, fostering innovation, facilitating effective planning implementation, enhancing resilience, promoting international collaboration.

In the contemporary global landscape, intersection of innovation, foreign direct investment (FDI) inflows, economic growth, and renewable energy consumption has become a focal point academic, economic, policy discussions. As nations strive to navigate complex challenges sustainable development, understanding intricate relationships among these critical variables becomes imperative for shaping effective policies strategies. This study examines interrelationship between determinants consumption. holistic framework, paper tests nexus We analyse variables' potential causal linkages feedback mechanisms using qualitative quantitative approaches. The collected data from Word Bank 1990- 2022 in 60 countries. also employs dynamic analysis unrestricted fixed random effects. research applied Granger causality establish direction variables. findings suggest bidirectional relationship FDI growth empirical results show that is crucial mediating innovation. discuss implications policymakers future research.

Anthropogenic environmental pollution has become a global concern due to its profound impact on Earth's ecosystems. This study examines the interrelation between energy resources (both renewable and non-renewable), economic growth, CO2 emissions across G-20 countries, using historical data from 1990 2020. The employs robustness analysis confirm stability consistency of acquired primary approaches. utilizes FMOLS (Fully Modified Ordinary Least Squares) DOLS (Dynamic methodologies investigate endogeneity issues examine dynamic linkages in long-term short-term contexts. is bifurcated based two distinct dependent variables: gas oil. Results indicate that oil energies directly augment emissions. While hydro typically diminish emissions, specific quantiles suggest slight increase, indicating an indirect contribution. GDP's quantile transition positive negative implies growth can curtail suggesting shift developed economies non-renewable dependencies. offers insightful policy implications, emphasizing need harmful conventional sources renewables align with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for 2030.
