Ensuring energy justice is crucial for achieving social stability and realizing low-carbon development. Accordingly, we estimate the effect of green finance (GF) on in China further explore its influencing mechanisms using system-generalized method moments (SYS-GMM). For this purpose, first assess levels across 30 Chinese provinces. The main results show following: (1) China’s index generally shows an upward trend during observation period. (2) GF can directly promote justice, mainly by increasing procedural recognition restorative justice. (3) also indirectly increases promoting environmental regulation total factor productivity (GTFP). (4) heterogeneous asymmetric. Specifically, it more pronounced southern China, regions with low indexes, high indexes. This study’s findings enrich existing literature provide policy implications realization

Although the low-carbon transition has enormous potential for improving economic and environmental benefits, it may also lead to social equity issues, trapping certain regions in a dilemma. Based on panel data from Yangtze River Economic Belt period 2007–2019, this study empirically analyzes impact of carbon decoupling energy equity, employing emission trading policy natural wetlands as joint instrumental variables. The findings reveal that: (1) 2007 2019, average level was recorded at 0.415, maintaining weak state overall nearly forming an "inverted V" shape; (2) variable regression results, every 1% increase decoupling, decreased by 0.095% (p < .01); (3) burden played partial mediating role between with mediation effect value being −0.007 .05); (4) green consumption marketization can variably mitigate adverse effects decoupling. Examining sustainability economic-environmental system perspective contributes shaping economy that maintains justice sustainability, thereby avoiding falling into trap.

ABSTRACT Despite extensive research on energy justice, little has been written about whether scholarly discourse justice translated into public social media discourse. This paper addresses this gap by examining Sustainable Development Goal 7 (SDG7) communications media. To date, study is the first utilizing network analysis (SNA) and computational methods to examine messaging related SDG7 Twitter (currently known as X) identify central topics associated with communications. The data used include 6059 tweets containing “#sdg7,” resulting in a hashtag co‐occurrence 2769 nodes 22,667 edges. It shows that while SDG goals, like 3 good health well‐being, themes, such solar African issues, are often discussed alongside SDG7, justice‐related issues racial important transition perspectives, or just transitions, less frequently linked it sphere. findings suggest need better integrate conversations shape more inclusive impactful policies.
