As the main driving force of new technological revolution, intelligent development is key to promoting high-quality economic development. This paper empirically examines nonlinear influence on green economy efficiency and its action paths using provincial panel data China from 2009 2021. The result provides significant evidence a U-shaped relationship between efficiency, indicating that initially leads decreases before ultimately increasing. Additional analysis confirms environmental regulation, finance, industrial agglomeration positively moderate impact efficiency. Faced with increasing constraints on resource supply, serious environmental pollution, as well degraded ecosystems, humans urgently need to propose effective governance initiatives and construct an system. Exploiting the national ecological civilization pilot zone (NECPZ) policy a quasi-natural experiment using city-level data from 2011 2019, this research employs difference-in-differences (DID) approach evaluate comprehensive economic effects of NECPZ policy. Meanwhile, we investigate its mechanisms firm-level 2019. The significantly reduces city carbon emission intensity promotes industrial structure upgrading. results still hold after series robustness tests. mechanism analysis indicates that curbs urban boosts upgrading via altering four firm behaviours: corporate management, green technological innovation, finance, tax relief. Moreover, impact varies considerably among regions different types. Combining empirical findings theoretical analysis, paper argues achieves 'win-win' situation protection development, which provides evidence for other developing countries govern environment simultaneously develop their economies through constructing systems.

This paper reviews research progress on MRCC, exploring its connotations, characteristics, measurement methods, influencing factors.
