Recent years have seen a spike in the number of academics utilizing ecological footprint as stand-in for environmental depletion because its extensive nature and ability to capture worsening ecosystem. Thus, this article brings new effort analyze effect Bangladesh's economic complexity natural resources on over long period, from 1995 2018. Using nonlinear autoregressive distributed lag (NARDL) model, paper suggests that more complex economy has significantly positive term. If is simplified, it less impact environment. For Bangladesh, an increase 1 unit leads 0.13 units, while drop 1% causes decrease 0.41%. Results also demonstrate both negative changes contribute rises quality which negatively influences country's footprint. Quantitatively, reduces by 0.14%, whereas opposite effect, reducing 0.59%. In addition, asymmetric Granger causality test confirms existence unidirectional causal link partial sum Finally, findings point two-way relationship between size economy's economy. Policymakers should boost technological advances lessen operational costs adopting innovative Research development framework devoting cash resource policies promote adaptable

Abstract This study examines whether the raw material productivity, export intensification, and environmental‐related technologies in Nordic region (i.e., Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden) drives region's carbon neutrality target. By adopting both symmetric asymmetric empirical approaches over period 1990–2019, found that positive negative shifts mitigates greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions with former causing a larger impact. Furthermore, findings reveal shift productivity GHG while causes surge especially long‐run. Moreover, (negative) intensity yields decline (upsurge) In framework, long‐ short‐run, result reveals economic growth upsurges for green emissions. demonstrates efficient profile of countries. Alongside Granger causality inference, further informs energy is crucial to curbing region. Thus, from offers relevant policy instructions.

Challenges brought on by the rapid rate of economic growth include depletion natural resources (NAR) and environmental deterioration. Due to its abundant mineral growth, China has gained attention from both developing developed worlds. Using data 1970/Q1 2020/Q4, this paper evaluates time‐frequency nexus between CO 2 emissions resources, coal consumption, growth. The study employs Wavelet Local Multiple Correlation (WLMC) explore nexus. This approach enhances capacity comprehend fundamental relationships these indicators at different frequencies. To best investigator' knowledge, is first empirical investigation resource, use, in China, thus filling a gap literature. Furthermore, wavelet coherence employed as robustness check. WLMC bivariate cases revealed that drive positively all frequencies, is, short long‐term, leading degradation. results support outcomes cases. offers significant implications for policy insights are supported findings.

The nexus between green growth and ecological footprint is associated with crucial environmental implications. But this domain not examined sufficiently provides ambiguous findings. Furthermore, these studies have addressed the role of natural resources, innovation, ICT in influencing footprint. Our study analyzes impact growth, ICT, resources on ofemerging-7 developed-7 economies. We employed CS-ARDL methodology to draw long-run short-run estimates said relationships. obtained findings show that innovation reduce emerging economies long run. However, enhance Green run developed Based outcomes, recommends important policy suggestions.
