Purpose This study examines the destigmatization of second-hand consumption in a developing country through lens social practice theory. It explores media and institutional discourses surrounding children’s thrift stores, identifying key argumentative emphases that reshape perceptions market. A descriptive-correlational study was conducted among 350 residents of Barangay Consolacion, Cagayan de Oro, Philippines, to assess their Knowledge, Attitude, and Practices (KAP) regarding Solid Waste Management (SWM) how these relate actual waste management behaviors. The main goal understand the residents’ level awareness about SWM, attitudes toward it, factors influence everyday practices. Data were gathered through surveys, statistical tools, including Pearson correlation, applied identify connections between variables. findings showed that had moderate knowledge with programs (mean = 3.27), environmental issues 3.32), importance training 3.41). Positive observed in areas like separation 3.17), labeling volunteerism 3.29). However, there gaps practices, such as collection methods disposal consistency, which indicated room for improvement.
