Salinity stress poses a major obstacle to agricultural productivity. Employing plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) has attracted significant attention due its potential improve development in challenging conditions. Yet, additional investigation is essential fully understand the of PGPR mitigating salinity stress, especially field applications. Hence, this study investigated resistance mechanisms soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merr.) under salt with application through experiment four treatments: normal planting (NN), + (NP), (SN), and (SP). This research how applying influences photosynthetic traits, osmotic regulation, rhizosphere microbial communities, yield quality. The results demonstrated that enhanced leaf temperature significantly reduced area index, SPAD value, stomatal conductance, rate, transpiration rate soybeans. Compared SN treatment, SP treatment improved by 10.98%, 16.28%, 35.59%, respectively. Salt substantially increased sodium (Na+) concentration Na+/K+ ratio leaves, roots, grains while reducing potassium (K+) roots leaves. Under minimized Na+ leaves K⁺ 47.05%, 25.72%, 14.48%, boosted carbon assimilation (starch synthesis) enhancing activities sucrose synthase, fructokinase, ADP-glucose pyrophosphorylase. It physiological parameters 32.57% compared treatment. Additionally, antioxidant enzyme activities, including glutathione reductase, peroxidase, ascorbate monodehydroascorbate oxidative damage from stress. Analysis communities revealed enriched beneficial bacterial phyla such as Bacteroidetes, Firmicutes, Nitrospirae, Patescibacteria fungal genera like Metarhizium. These shifts likely contributed nutrient cycling plant–microbe interactions, further resilience salinity. demonstrates enhances growth, diversity, tolerance future efforts should optimize formulations, explore synergies, scale up for sustainable
