The ubiquitous problem of pesticide in aquatic environment are receiving worldwide concern as tends to accumulate the body organism and sediment soil, posing health risks human. Many formulations had introduced due rapid growth global market result from wide use pesticides agricultural non-agricultural sectors. occurrence water is derived by runoff field industrial wastewater. Soluble were carried away molecules especially during precipitation event percolating downward into soil layers eventually reach surface waters groundwater. Consequently, it degrades quality reduces supply clean for potable water. Long-time exposure low concentration resulted non-carcinogenic risks. conventional method treatment processes encompasses coagulation-flocculation, adsorption, filtration sedimentation, which rely on phase transfer pollutants. Those methods often incurred with a relatively high operational cost may cause secondary pollution such sludge formation. Advanced oxidation (AOPs) recognized technologies containing recalcitrant bio-refractory pollutants pesticides. It has been adopted recent purification technology because thermodynamic viability broad spectrum applicability. This work provides comprehensive review drinking its possible treatment.
