ABSTRACT The human body gets exposed to a variety of toxins intentionally or unintentionally on regular basis from sources such as air, water, food, and soil. Certain can be synthetic, while some are biological. affect the various parts by activating numerous pro‐inflammatory markers, like oxidative stresses, that tend disturb normal function organs ultimately. Nowadays, people use different types herbal treatments, viz., drinks contain spices for detoxification their bodies. One example is turmeric, most commonly available spice in kitchen used across all kinds households. Turmeric contains curcumin, which natural polyphenol. Curcumin medicinal compound with biological activities, antioxidant, antineoplastic, anti‐inflammatory, antibacterial. Hence, this review gives comprehensive insight into promising potential curcumin heavy metals, carbon tetrachloride, drugs, alcohol, acrylamide, mycotoxins, nicotine, plastics. encompasses diverse animal‐based studies portraying curcumin's role nullifying toxic effects (especially liver, kidney, testicles, brain) enhancing defensive signaling pathways, improving antioxidant enzyme levels, inhibiting markers activities so on. Furthermore, also argues over safety assessment its utilization detoxifying agent.

The food safety risks posed by exposure to polystyrene microplastics (PS-MPs) and bisphenol A (BPA) have become an issue worldwide. However, the toxic effects of PS-MPs BPA coexposure on mammalian liver remain elusive. In this study, we found that synergistic AML12 cells mouse liver. Histopathological staining revealed excessive accumulation extracellular matrix in Co-exposure downregulated Bmal1 E-cad both vitro vivo. Additionally, Bmal1–/– liver-specific mice exhibited significantly reduced levels, with no significant reduction under coexposure. Notably, overexpression BMAL1 CLOCK enhanced luciferase activity driven gene intron region (containing E-box cis-element). These results demonstrated contributed development fibrosis inhibiting BMAL1/E-cad signaling pathway.

Introduction Ever since the use of bisphenol A (BPA) has been restricted, concerns have raised regarding its substitutes, such as S (BPS) and F (BPF). Meanwhile, EU European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) issued new tolerable daily intake (TDI) after latest re-risk assessment for BPA, which enforced need cumulative risk in population. This study was conducted to identify BPA substitute’s exposure characteristics general Taiwanese population estimate exposure. Methods Urine samples ( N = 366 [adult, 271; minor, 95]) were collected from individuals who participated Taiwan Environmental Survey Toxicants 2013. The analyzed BPS, BPF through ultraperformance liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry. Daily (DI) levels calculated each bisphenol. Hazard quotients (HQs) with consideration DI a reference dose. Additionally, hazard index (HI; sum HQs bisphenol) values calculated. Results Our found that median level significantly higher adults (9.63 μg/g creatinine) than minors (6.63 p < 0.001). BPS female (0.69 ng/kg/day) male (0.49 ng/kg/day); however, DIs boys (1.15 0.26 ng/kg/day, respectively) girls (0.57 0.20 respectively). Most HI exceeded 1 (99% participants) EFSA re-establish TDI BPA. Discussion revealed profiles substitute varied by age sex. deemed unacceptable according regulations, food contamination could be possible source We suggest substitutes most human biomonitoring studies should reassessed based on scientific evidence.

We compare, the prevalence, fate, and sources of Bisphenol A both globally in India. India has highest concentration BPA S(BPS) general, with vegetables, particularly corn, beans, strings, raw or canned being largest contributors. Among all matrices, bisphenols (BPs) are found food, followed by surface water, wastewater, indoor dust. BPA, BPS, BPF most commonly reported analogues India, dominant category used worldwide. The BPs is observed Uttar Pradesh, Punjab Haryana that three major agricultural states however, there still a research gap regarding dietary exposure to on an individual level. Environmentally detected occurs range below detection 10636 ng. L

ObjectivesAlthough previous epidemiological studies have reported the effects of fetal exposure to phthalates and phenols on birth outcomes, evidence is limited. The objective this study was investigate whether prenatal endocrine-disrupting chemicals [EDCs; bisphenol A (BPA)] associated with outcomes there are sex-specific effects.MethodsWe used data from Korean CHildren's ENvironmental health Study (Ko-CHENS) cohort. Exposure BPA measured by urine tests, information confounders obtained delivery records, biomarker assessment, a self-reported questionnaire. We performed multivariate logistic regression estimate association between individual EDCs each outcome. Additionally, evaluate EDC mixture exposure, we weighted quantile sum analysis. Subgroup analysis stratified maternal age sex at examine potential differences in associations.ResultsThis included 2,176 mother-child pairs Ko-CHENS. observed significant risk PTB during early pregnancy mono-carboxyoctyl phthalate (MCOP) late pregnancy, odds ratios 1.23 (95% CI: 1.01, 1.49) 1.29 1.03, 1.62), respectively. positive MCOP LBW (OR: 1.39, 95% 1.89). For male infants, 2.44, 1.43, 4.15), (OR 1.45, 1.05, 2.02).ConclusionsThis presents quantitative for EDCs, especially MCOP, PTB/LBW. Abstract Bisphenol A (BPA) is an “environmental obesogen” and this study aims to investigate the intergenerational impacts of BPA‐induced metabolic syndrome (MetS), specifically focusing on unraveling mechanisms. Exposure BPA induces disorders in paternal mice, which are then transmitted offspring, leading late‐onset MetS. Mechanistically, upregulates Srebf1, turn promotes Pparg‐dependent transcription Dicer1 spermatocytes, increasing levels multiple sperm microRNAs (miRNAs). Several these miRNAs highly expressed a synchronized manner liver offspring. miR149‐5p, miR150‐5p, miR700‐5p target specific region Lepr 3′UTR, termed “SMITE” (“ S everal Mi RNAs T argeting E lements”), negatively regulate Lepr. These i nherited nti‐ L epr miRNAs, also referred (IAL‐miRs), modulate hepatic steatosis, insulin signaling through regulatory Igfbp2, Egfr, Ampk. Furthermore, IAL‐miRs inhibit Ccnd1 not only via binding but Lepr–Igfbp2 axis, contribute hepatocyte senescence. pathological processes interact self‐reinforcing cycle, worsening MetS BPA‐exposed The findings reveal mechanism wherein lipid metabolism reprogramming spermatocytes‐induced perturbations triggered by BPA, leads inheritance suppression axis
