Water contamination with plastic materials represents one of the most pressing environmental problems that modern world is facing. In this context, present paper aims to investigate influence fluorescent dissolved organic matter (FDOM) released by on aquatic bacterial fraction and evaluate efficiency fluorescence spectroscopy in identifying FDOM freshwater. To purpose, river tap water samples were contaminated a controlled manner laboratory, quality parameters occurrence for these determined using standard physico-chemical characterization methods: spectroscopy, dynamic light scattering, flow cytometry. Microplastics (MPs) and hexavalent chromium (Cr(VI)) are typical environmental pollutants, yet their interactions in aquatic systems remain poorly understood. This study investigates the mutual influence between Cr(VI) both virgin aged polystyrene microplastics (PS-MPs) under light conditions. Concentration kinetics revealed that total concentration remained stable across all systems, while concentrations decreased over time, indicating PS-MPs accelerate reduction of to Cr(III). Conversely, it had been found promoted aging PS-MPs, this was evidenced by an increase surface roughness generation oxygen-containing functional groups. led a rise O/C ratio carbonyl index, providing additional evidence for PS.
