Exposure to polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) has been associated with many adverse health outcomes. This cohort study investigates the association between prenatal exposure PAHs and blood pressure in children aged 4-6 years. Background: Sucralose and benzo(a)pyrene (B[a]P) are widespread foodborne substances known to harm human health. However, the effects of their combined exposure on kidney function remain unclear. This study aimed investigate mechanisms by which sucralose B[a]P induce injury through P-glycoprotein (PGP/ABCB1), a crucial protein involved in cellular detoxification. Many studies have indicated that individual exposure to phthalates (PAEs) or polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) affects pregnancy outcomes. However, combined PAEs and PAHs presents a more realistic situation, research on the effects of gestational age newborn size is still limited. This study aimed assess neonatal birth size. Levels 9 PAE 10 PAH metabolites were measured from urine samples 1030 women during early Zunyi Birth Cohort in China. Various statistical models, including linear regression, restricted cubic spline, Bayesian kernel machine quantile g-computation, used effects, dose-response relationships, respectively.
