A 3D numerical model of the municipal solid waste incineration (MSWI) process was constructed based on a grate furnace with daily processing capacity 800 tons. Fluent used for analyzing key factors affecting concentration and diffusion level particulate matter (PM). According to actual MSWI plant working condition, incinerator heat boiler has been under benchmarks. Key PM generation were determined by combining mechanistic knowledge experts’ experience. They combustion temperature phase (MSW), wall’s collision mode, second baffle length. Subsequently, resolving delineated. Then, univariate analysis aforementioned conducted three pivotal mentioned above. Conclusively, effect important number particles at outflow analyzed via orthogonal experiments obtain optimal combination. initially diminished then rose increased solid-phase MSW. Furthermore, noteworthy reduction in observed when length 12.45–12.95 m. The greatest influence outlet posed followed appropriate adjustment MSW, selection wall materials, design beneficial diminishing ensuring long-term stable operation process. combinative optimality acquired experiments, which proved subsequent control outlet.

Abstract This review explores the potential of using different types ash, namely fly biomass and coal ash etc., as mediums for CO 2 capture sequestration. The diverse origins these – municipal waste, organic biomass, combustion impart unique physicochemical properties that influence their suitability efficiency in absorption. first discusses environmental economic implications wastes, emphasizing reduction landfill usage transformation waste into value‐added products. Then chemical/physical treatments wastes inherent capabilities binding or reacting with are introduced, along current methodologies utilize ashes sequestration, including mineral carbonation direct air techniques. application highlighted, followed by discussion regarding challenges associated ash‐based absorption approach. Finally, article projects future, proposing innovative approaches technological advancements needed to enhance efficacy combating increasing levels. By providing a comprehensive analysis strategies envisioning future prospects, this aims contribute field sustainable management.
