Wastewater from industrial complexes contains a significant amount of non-biodegradable azo dyes that present hazard to animals, plant life and humans. The sorbents biomass are showing promising potential for the removal through biosorption. Hence, this research presents capability using pomegranate peel (Punica granatum) as novel biosorbent uptake dye Eriochrome Black T (EBT) an aqueous solution. effective EBT was monitored by adjusting sorption parameters including pH value, mass biosorbent, concentration consecutively studying kinetics. samples were analysed various instrumental techniques physio-chemical methods. After experiments UV–Vis spectrophotometer. found be optimal at value 3 with 100 mg 150 mg/L during contact time 90 min room temperature. Under these conditions, adsorption capacity determined 46.10 mg/g.
