AbstractA simple, quick and environmentally friendly microwave-assisted synthesis method was developed to produce MoS2 nanoparticles (MoS2NP) for the preconcentration of thallium. The characteristics synthesized MoS2NP were validated by x-ray diffraction (XRD) scanning electron microscopy (SEM). determination thallium achieved with based a flame atomic absorption spectrophotometer (MoS2NP-PM-FAAS). The Sefidrud River, which flows into the Caspian Sea after traversing northern Iranian province of Guilan, is principal river in southern Sea. Its water utilized for drinking, agriculture, and aquaculture, while industrial agricultural wastewater discharged this valuable body water. This study aimed to measure concentration two heavy metals, nickel lead, organochlorine toxins sediment river. Water samples were taken from River at three stations four seasons above-mentioned metals as well some physiochemical parameters Results showed that annual mean temperature, calcium, magnesium, electrical conductivity (EC), T.D.S, pH, dissolved oxygen 16.35°C, 77 mg/l, 28.41 1245.41 mS/m, 782.7, 8.01, 7.91 mg/l. lead was also 0.008 ± 0.001 0 mg/l 29.75 1.19 313.4 17.13 sediments. results Pertilachlor 0.40 0.046 2.91 0.476 sediments, Saturn 2.81 0.47 0.39 Since sediments contain relatively high concentrations such toxins, should be regarded polluted; therefore, discharge pollutants properly managed.
