Do New Urbanization Policies Promote Sustainable Urbanization? Evidence from China’s Urban Agglomerations

So, since 2014, the Chinese government implemented a new policy nationwide. However, few researchers have examined whether policies promote sustainable urbanization. This paper evaluates of 19 urban agglomerations China using elastic coefficient. The results indicate significant increase number cities achieving implementation policy. risen from 46 period 2010–2015 to 71 2015–2021. The spatial spillover effect of financial growth on high-quality development: Evidence from Yellow River Basin in China

Abstract River basin cities are areas with remarkable conflicts between the human activity and ecological environment. They also important targets for policy implementation of sustainable high-quality development (HD) in various countries around world. This article exploits panel data 99 located Yellow Basin (YRB) from 2006 to 2019 empirically analyze spatial effect financial growth on HD. Spatial weights participated econometric models utilized this effect. Empirical results reveal that: (1) HD YRB shows a strong positive autocorrelation. (2) Financial exerts an N-shaped curve long-term perspective. When influence spills out surroundings, it exhibits inverted U-shaped characteristic. Spatio-temporal evolution characteristics and influencing factors of environmental welfare performance in Chinese cities

Background In the process of China’s urbanization, issues such as air pollution, water soil and noise pollution have become increasingly prominent, severely constraining sustainable development cities. The resultant decline in environmental welfare performance (EWP) not only affects residents’ quality life but may also lead to public health issues, increasing healthcare costs, subsequently impacting social stability economic development. Methods This paper incorporates factors closely related welfare, into analytical framework performance. Using Hybrid-Network-DEA model, we measure EWP 240 cities China, then investigate spatial distribution characteristics spatio-temporal evolution patterns EWP. Finally, empirical testing influencing is conducted using econometric methods. Results overall level Chinese from 2004 2019 relatively low, it generally shows a wavy upward trend. Meanwhile, notable regional disparities exist EWP, with highest average east, followed by west, lowest central. main source differences lies inter-regional disparities. greatest internal are found while largest between east west. ABSTRACT Refurbishment plays an important role in realizing circular economy. In this study, consumers' deliberative behavior is incorporated into addressing pricing and blockchain adoption strategies for the refurbisher. The study found that consumer deliberation favorable to refurbisher when both refurbishment cost perceived quality are high. Meanwhile, under high low cost, adopting beneficial regardless of refurbished products. Otherwise, should be adopted only exceeds a threshold. Furthermore, impacts or on refurbisher's willingness may opposite different consumers behaviors. Finally, robustness conclusions validated extensions.

Quantitative evaluation of the medicine innovation policy in China: based on the PMC-Index model

Introduction Medicine innovation is crucial in promoting the sustainable development of medicine undertakings, which has significant economic and social benefits. China main force global consumption, with a huge demand for innovative medicines. Thus, Chinese government releases series policies aimed at providing scientific reasonable guidance innovation. However, there inadequate quantitative evaluation comparison various existing studies. Methods This paper adopts approach text mining Policy Modeling Consistency Index (PMC-Index) model to construct an system then quantitatively evaluates compares traditional (TCMIPs), biological (BMIPs), multiple (MMIPs) China. Results The results indicate that: (1) three types drug have similarities content goal through comparative analysis high-frequency words, while they also their own characteristics.
