K/MnOx catalysts on MnO2 and Fe3O4 supports were synthesized compared for the deep oxidation of cyclohexane. The presence potassium (K) enhanced catalytic activity to with similar composition but without K. Interestingly, lowest loading used in this study (0.63 mmoles/g support) performed better than those higher loadings. K increased water adsorption, decreased extent sintering, inhibited changes crystal phase catalyst support, as evidenced by TGA, XRD, BET surface area analyses. XRD profiles showed mixed phases MnOx FeOx species, EPR results support valence states Fe Mn. activation energies MnOx-supported FeOx-supported approximately 50 kJ/mole 53 kJ/mole, respectively.

Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) are pollutants that pose significant health and environmental risks, necessitating effective mitigation strategies. Catalytic oxidation emerges as a viable method for converting VOCs into non-toxic end products. This study focuses on synthesizing catalyst based calcium silicate hydrates with chromium ions in the CaO-SiO2-Cr(NO3)3-H2O system under hydrothermal conditions evaluating its thermal stability catalytic performance. A varying concentrations of (10, 25, 50, 100 mg/g Cr3+) was synthesized unstirred suspensions saturated steam pressure at temperature 220 °C. Isothermal curing durations were 8 h, 16 48 h. Results X-ray diffraction atomic absorption spectroscopy showed synthesis is incorporating up to Cr3+ hydrates. The (50 mg/g) remained stable 550 °C, beyond which chromatite formed. experiments propanol propyl acetate revealed supported enhances oxygen exchange during heterogeneous process. Kinetic calculations indicated active, an activation energy lower than 65 kJ/mol. highlights potential Cr3+-intercalated efficient catalysts VOC oxidation.

Ecosystems and environments are impacted by atmospheric pollution, which has significant effects on human health climate. For these reasons, devices for developing portable low-cost monitoring systems required to assess exposure during daily life. As a highly volatile and lipid-soluble industrial solvent widely used in production, dichloroethane easily causes pollution human health damage, which is attracting increasing attention. In the present study, six common oils (three vegetable three mineral oils) 11 organic were to prepare absorbents. The absorbent viscosity, absorption ability, dynamic effect, reusability evaluated. prepared absorbents showed good abilities, i.e., low partition coefficient, saturated capacities of colza, soybean, peanut oil-based equaled 113.26–164.06, 113.21–160.89, 78.99–147.82 mg/g, respectively. Besides, viscosity decreased obviously after preparation, conducive gas-liquid mass transfer. Especially, addition ethyl hexanoate dioctyl adipate favored both reduction absorption. With 10 min heating at ~90 °C, model could be efficiently recycled lost <25% its initial capacity cycles.
