The presence of pharmaceuticals or their active metabolites in receiving waters is a sign the inefficient removal bioactive substrates from wastewater. Adsorption seems to be most effective and inexpensive method removal. Waste management aimed at sorbents promising way sustain several sustainable development goals. In presented paper, two widely used drugs wastewater was examined. Diclofenac carbamazepine were removed water using textile waste-derived sorbents. Their efficiency verified by testing process parameters such as time sorption, interfering inorganic ions, dissolved organic matter, initial pH ionic strength solution, various matrices. adsorption capacity noted for diclofenac (57.1 mg/g) (21.25 mg/g). tested (pH, strength, matrix) confirmed that waste materials possessed great potential pharmaceutical
