Abstract Despite the ecological and socio‐economic benefits of nature‐based solutions (NbS), application principles to design seawalls (termed ‘seawall eco‐engineering’) mitigate their impacts remains low. We investigated stakeholder perspectives of, support for willingness pay (WTP) seawall eco‐engineering in one most diverse urbanised harbours world, Sydney Harbour, Australia.
