This study explores the intricate landscape of Electric Vehicle (EV) adoption within contemporary urban transportation, focusing on a cohort 50 participants. The research seeks to unravel drivers and impediments that influence individuals' decisions regarding EV adoption. Utilizing quantitative design, investigation encompasses demographic profiles, ownership prevalence, intentions future results uncover significant segment participants who either possess EVs or harbor strong acquire them. Their motivation predominantly emanates from concerns about environment prospect achieving economic savings. Nevertheless, underscores enduring apprehensions related accessibility charging infrastructure. analysis spotlights pivotal role played by income levels in shaping for adoption, underscoring necessity tailored financial incentives. Furthermore, emphasizes compelling environmental consciousness propelling While recognizing study's limitations, including relatively modest homogenous sample size, these insights offer valuable guidance policymakers stakeholders aiming advance sustainable transportation. As evolves, imperative emerges strategies address infrastructure challenges customize incentives appeal wider demographic. These approaches are indispensable expediting transition electric vehicles mitigating carbon footprint mobility.

In the transition to electric mobility (EM), business model innovation plays a crucial role in expanding use of vehicles and increasing acceptance this technology. The pathways differ between countries largest economies those Latin America. Brazil presents unique scenario, benefiting from an early start with biofuels, production flex-fuel vehicles, predominantly renewable energy generation (>80%), absence structured national policy aligned local governments. This study introduces framework that surveys categorizes businesses EM, relating them sustainable development aspects regulatory maturity. It builds solid conceptual foundation, incorporating data technical commercial events, as well interviews Brazilian specialists for validation. proposed aids understanding context, identifying gaps, developing common language advance studies on innovation, contributing electromobility Additionally, it can guide construction regional public policies help identify more projects.

Transitioning to electric vehicles (EVs) is a central strategy for reducing carbon dioxide and air pollutant emissions. Although the emission impacts of reduced gasoline combustion increased power generation are well recognized, growing EV manufacturing activities remain understudied. Here, we focus on China India, two fastest-growing markets. Compared 2030 baseline scenario, find that national emissions pollutants could increase in certain high penetration scenarios as result emission-intensive battery material production processes. Notably, sulfur by 16-20% if all batteries have nickel- cobalt-based cathodes produced domestically. Subnational regions abundant battery-related minerals might emerge future pollution hotspots. Our study thus highlights importance supply chain decisions related processes understanding environmental transition.
