Integrating renewables into existing energy infrastructure to construct hybrid systems (HES) plays a vital role for advancing sustainability. While various approaches, such as analysis and linear or non-linear optimisation, have been employed achieve sustainability mainly at the national city level, there has lack of focus on achieving in residential sector through holistic optimal decision-making approach efficient HES design. This study focuses developing multi-stage optimisation-based framework that models, quantifies, optimises performance indicators HES, allowing an assessment trade-off between benefits costs under design scenarios. The initial step involves designing model constructing scenarios cater electrification requirements water, energy, food elements by using systematic thinking approach. Then, preliminary evaluation modelled is conducted assess terms technical economic aspects. Afterwards, setup established integrating multi-objective NSGA-II algorithm, which approximates Pareto solutions. These solutions are then ranked multi-criteria method. According findings, Quetta region Pakistan contains best solution. results underscore utility developed facilitating renewables-integrated sector. Furthermore, intergovernmental organizations can leverage this formulate effective policies aimed encouraging residents invest installation.

Abstract. Solar energy forecasting is essential to maintain PV system’s performance in uncertain environmental conditions. Factors such as module temperature, ambient solar irradiance, and wind speed contribute the DC current generated by systems. In this study, an adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system (ANFIS) developed on MATLAB study a 2.88 kW grid-connected harsh weather conditions of Sharjah. are considered input membership functions ANFIS model. The output parameter generation, which critically depends defined functions. accuracy model was determined based comparison with experimental dataset. R2 value has shown that proposed can forecast minimal error, 99.12% 99.13% for training testing, respectively. Moreover, spatial 3-D surface optimum generation achieved at highest irradiance temperature while minimizing enhanced electrical efficiency.

Abstract Sustainable development (SD) research is vital in providing a basis for progress this rapidly growing field of inquiry. In context, higher education institutions (HEIs) and leading top researchers belonging to them are playing key role. Despite being widely acknowledged by the academy, it largely unclear how individual HEIs, their contribute sustainability efforts. Based on need unveil landscape, our article reports study that identified HEIs involved they moving forward. A bibliometric assessment literature (performance analysis) was conducted identify number publications authors institutions. The results reveal some interesting trends. First, co‐occurrence analysis technique revealed what 10 SD exploring. Also, identifies diverse thematic clusters, covering areas like technology, assessment, integrative education, corporate practices. paper advances theory illustrating these themes interconnect complement each other. concludes with suggestions universities may engage further research. theoretical practical implications research, as well its limitations, also addressed.

The extensive research and application of integrated energy systems (IES) coupled with renewable sources have played a pivotal role in alleviating the problems fossil shortage promoting sustainability to certain extent. <span>Lead-acid batteries are commonly used in photovoltaic systems to store solar energy for continuous use. However, lead-acid have a relatively short lifespan due frequent over-charging and over-discharging. A battery management system (BMS) is essential accurately predicting the state of charge (SoC) value order extend lifespan. In this research, BMS developed using coulomb counting method estimate SoC battery. The algorithm provides reliable estimation battery’s by calculating incoming outgoing currents. also uses two normally closed relays prevent overcharging first relay turns on when reaches 100% full off decreases 70%. second 20%. was tested Blynk, cloud-based internet things (IoT) platform. results showed that successfully provided monitoring control battery, with low margin error. This demonstrates can be practically implemented (PV)-battery improve overall performance system.</span>
