Analysis of consumer preferences for community solar programs using choice experiment

Many countries are actively promoting a community solar program, which is energy program centered on photovoltaic power generation, as public participation-type policy. In this study, we analyze the preferences of potential participants in programs from perspective policymakers to identify acceptance and draw policy implications. As methodology, choice experiment with stated preference method used individual attributes terms business model targeting Korean who participants. Furthermore, observed homogeneity within each group heterogeneity between groups by dividing based latent class estimation.
