Abstract The Netherlands, recognized as a leader in promoting circular economy principles, is actively implementing laws, incentives, and public–private collaborations to reduce raw material consumption by minimizing extraction encouraging sharing reuse. Emphasizing the durability extended use of materials goods crucial this transition. This study investigates long-term causal impacts practices, technological innovation, environmental tax policies, economic instability, industrialization on greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions covering period from first quarter 2010 fourth 2022. Employing advanced econometric techniques, including bounds test co-integration, autoregressive distributed lag models, wavelet coherence analysis, gradual shift causality tests, reveals that advancements, taxation significantly GHG both short-run long-run. Conversely, instability are found contribute positively emissions. analysis further highlights substantial interplay between independent variables studied. Based these findings, underscores need for Netherlands intensify efforts reducing emissions, curbing virgin construction, investing recycling technologies advance its goals.

Investigating the flow performance of Francis turbines from model to prototype is a complex but essential process for ensuring reliable and efficient turbine operation in hydropower plants. It ensures that designs operate efficiently under various operating conditions, extending laboratory reduced-scale models full-scale installations. In this investigation, was tested different its properties were measured, including torque, hydraulic efficiency, power output, cavitation coefficient, rotational speed, rate, pressure pulsations. The results test indicate it achieved maximum torque with designed discharge head. coefficient consistently remained higher than critical coefficient. initial bubbles observed at 50% partial load disappeared full load. Pressure pulsations conditions showed peak-to-peak amplitude appearing inlet domain minimum occurring draft tube elbow. A hill chart shows model’s best efficiency 93.66%, estimated 95.03% design conclusions methodology study can be generalized other similar turbines, especially lack experimental results.
