A pseudocapacitive electrode with a large surface area is critical for the construction of high-performance supercapacitor. 3D and interconnected network composed W18 O49 nanoflowers Ti3 C2 Tx MXene nanosheets thus synthesized using an electrostatic attraction strategy. This composite effectively prevents restacking meanwhile sufficiently exposes electrochemically active sites nanoflowers. Namely, this self-assembled owns abundant oxygen vacancies from enough nanosheets. As electrode, it shows big specific capacitance, superior rate capability good cycle stability. quasi-solid-state asymmetric supercapacitor (ASC) then fabricated anode cathode activated carbon coupled redox electrolyte FeBr3 . ASC displays cell voltage 1.8 V, capacitance 101 F g-1 at current density 1 , maximum energy 45.4 Wh kg-1 power 900 W 18 000 10.8 The proposed strategies are promising to synthesize different electrodes as well fabricate devices.

Highly efficient and durable flexible solid-state supercapacitors (FSSSCs) are emerging as low-cost devices for portable wearable electronics due to the elimination of leakage toxic/corrosive liquid electrolytes their capability withstand elevated mechanical stresses. Nevertheless, spread FSSSCs requires development highly conductive electrolytes, whose electrochemical characteristics must be competitive with those traditional electrolytes. Here, we propose an innovative composite electrolyte prepared by incorporating metallic two-dimensional group-5 transition metal dichalcogenides, namely, liquid-phase exfoliated functionalized niobium disulfide (f-NbS2) nanoflakes, into a sulfonated poly(ether ether ketone) (SPEEK) polymeric matrix. The terminal sulfonate groups in f-NbS2 nanoflakes interact sulfonic acid SPEEK forming robust hydrogen bonding network. Consequently, is mechanically/dimensionally stable even at degree sulfonation high 70.2%. At this sulfonation, strength 38.3 MPa, thanks proton transport through Grotthuss mechanism, conductivity 94.4 mS cm-1 room temperature. To elucidate importance interaction between electrode materials (including active binders) electrolyte, were produced using poly(vinylidene fluoride) conducting nonconducting binders, respectively. use our combination proton-conducting binder carbonaceous (mixture activated carbon, single/few-layer graphene, carbon black) results supercapacitor specific capacitance 116 F g-1 0.02 A g-1, optimal rate (76 10 g-1), stability during galvanostatic charge/discharge cycling folding/bending
