The deployment of fifth-generation (5G) wireless networks has already laid the ground-work for futuristic smart cities but along with this, it also triggered rapid growth a wide range applications, example, Internet Everything (IoE), online gaming, extended/virtual reality (XR/VR), telemedicine, cloud computing, and others, which require ultra-low latency, ubiquitous coverage, higher data rates, extreme device density, ultra-high capacity, energy efficiency, better reliability. Moreover, predicted explosive surge in mobile traffic until 2030 envisioned potential use-cases/scenarios city context will far exceed capabilities 5G was designed. Therefore, there is need to harness 6th Generation (6G) capabilities, not only meet stringent requirements megacities can open up new applications. Other crucial concerns that be addressed are related network security, privacy, interoperability, digital divide, other integration issues. In this article, we examine current emerging trends implementation 6G arena. Firstly, give an inclusive comprehensive review communication technologies find use cities. discussion each technology covers its benefits, challenges future research direction. Secondly, explore promising applications these technologies, such as, grids, healthcare, waste management, etc. conclusion part, have highlighted suggestions possible directions. So, single paper, attempted provide wider perspective on 6G-enabled by including both their This paper help readers gain holistic view ascertain opportunities bring diverse, massive

Demand-side management (DSM) is a significant component of the smart grid. DSM without sufficient generation capabilities cannot be realized; taking that concern into account, integration distributed energy resources (solar, wind, waste-to-energy, EV, or storage systems) has brought effective transformation and challenges to In this review article, it noted overcome these issues, crucial analyze demand-side from point view in considering various operational constraints objectives identifying multiple factors affect better planning, scheduling, management. paper, gaps research possible prospects are discussed briefly provide proper insight current implementation using storage. With expectation an increase adoption types generation, estimated operations can offer valuable opportunity for customers utility aggregators become active participants dispatch, market-oriented trading energy. This will help develop strategies reduce system uncertainties, variations, constraints.

Abstract This paper develops a technical framework for the next‐generation power grid transformer (NGPGT) renewables. is structured to overcome environmental challenges produced by explosive use of nonrenewable base energy generation sources. The these sources cannot meet required electricity world's growing community due their availability, cost, and lack flexibility. However, modern systems focus on renewable sources, where transformer's interaction plays an essential role in generation, transmission, distribution. centralization, local monitoring, interoperability, authenticity, precise bi‐directional flow may limit application current transformers In this paper, new framework, called NGPGT, developed introducing some extended features addressing shown current‐generation transformers. enabling advanced with existing which includes automatic condition intelligent inverters, edge computing, controlling, management. also illustrates benefits scope NGPGT compared assembling requirements obligatory components. Additionally, highlights few difficulties implementing terms operational, communication, management, economic points view, enable further research scopes researchers.
