Abstract
The
present
work
reports
a
one-step
hydrothermal
carbonization
process
used
to
simultaneously
produce
carbon
quantum
dots
and
porous
carbon.
synthesized
materials
were
characterized
by
using
Fourier
transform
infrared
spectrometer
(FT-IR)
study
the
chemical
interactions,
optical
properties
studied
with
help
of
UV-visible
absorption
spectroscopy,
morphology
analysis
CQDs
was
examined
FESEM,
in
which
spherical
confirms
formation
CQDs,
while
XRD
amorphous
nature
application
is
evaluated
as
supercapacitor
material
cyclic
voltammetry
technique.
specific
capacitance
161.33
Fg
−1
at
0.01mVs
scan
rate.
This
makes
promising
candidate
for
applications
energy
storage
devices
such
supercapacitors.

Supercapacitors
have
garnered
