This article presents an analytical solution for the evaluation of thermal performance packed bed sensible heat storage. The numerical model developed was tested four different solid storage mediums. energy equation is solved numerically by deploying finite difference method. presented based on a novel mathematical approach. validated using computer simulation package Comsol Multiphysics v5.3. Our results are in good agreement with published experimental data, overall ~10%. Hence, efficient way evaluating systems compared to other strategies or techniques. proves that has shown be reliable and broadly accurate approach acquire
