In this study, polycrystalline copper oxide (CuO) thin films with the presence of various pH levels were fabricated using successive ion layer adsorption and reaction (SILAR) method. The impact on structural optical properties produced was examined. present characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD) UV-vis absorption spectroscopy measurements. XRD result showed that all had a nature monoclinic CuO crystal phase. Direct band gap energies films, determined Tauc equation, ranged from 1.49 eV to 2.89 eV. parameters such as refractive index (n), extinction coefficient (k), real (ε_1), imaginary (ε_2) parts dielectric constant derived absorbance transmittance spectra films. film n values 3.10 11.14, while k varied 0.79 1.70. Likewise, ε_1 ε_2 for 8.96 121.15 4.89 37.90, respectively.
