In
the
present
study,
polyvinylchloride
(PVC)
and
polymethyl
methacrylate
(PMMA)
blended
nanocomposites
comprised
of
graphene
nanoplatelets
(GNPs),
montmorillonite
(MMT),
copper
oxide
(CuO)
nanoparticles
were
prepared
through
solvent
casting
approach.
The
structural
morphological
measurements
confirmed
presence
dispersion
nanofillers
in
polymeric
chains.
Thermo-gravimetric
analysis
(TGA)
differential-scanning
calorimetry
(DSC)
investigations
suggested
improved
thermal
stability
for
nanocomposite
with
1.5
wt%
GNPs
loading
having
minimum
weight
loss
reduction
Tm
due
to
GNPs,
MMT,
CuO
acting
as
a
barrier
oxygen
molecule
diffusion
polymer-chain
movement
nanocomposite.
