The increase in the exploration of renewable energy sources intensifies need for efficient storage solutions to mitigate inherent intermittence these sources. Among available technologies, cryogenic (CES) systems stand out as a major and promising technology due their high scalability, efficiency, potential integration with other systems. This paper deals approaches, focused on Liquid Air Energy Storage (LAES). Several topics are addressed, including characterization CES systems, working principle, special relevance efficiency temperature/entropy diagram, conception technical challenges, design, construction CES. LAES demonstrates efficiencies ranging from 45% 70%, potentially reaching up 75% complementary capital costs 900 EUR/kW 1750/EUR/kW. Carbon dioxide (CO2)-based while more energy-efficient (40% 60%), face significant barriers infrastructure costs. This study investigates advanced strategies for r regenerating and recycling lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4, LFP) materials from spent lithium-ion batteries. Recovery techniques are categorized into direct regeneration, which restores positive electrode with high electrochemical performance, recycling, produces intermediate compounds such as carbonate phosphate. Additionally, resynthesis methods explored to convert recovered precursors high-quality LFP materials, ensuring their reuse in battery production. Innovative approaches, including carbothermic reduction, doping, hydrothermal resynthesis, highlighted ability enhance material properties, improve energy efficiency, maintain the olivine structure of LFP. This study investigates the reliability of Francis turbines and highlights critical need for an improved deformation monitoring system bolts that fasten a hydroturbine head-cover to its casing.
