Electric vehicles (EVs) play a crucial role in addressing the energy crisis and mitigating greenhouse effect. Lithium-ion batteries are primary storage medium for EVs due to their numerous advantages. State of health (SOH) is critical parameter managing lithium-ion batteries, accurate SOH estimation forms foundation battery management systems (BMS), ensuring safe operation EVs. Data-driven deep learning techniques attracting significant attention because strong ability model complex nonlinear relationships, which makes them highly suitable batteries. This paper provides comprehensive introduction common used with focus on architectures. It systematically reviews application various algorithms recent years. Building this, offers detailed comparison these methods discusses current challenges future directions this field, aim providing an extensive review estimation.
