ABSTRACT Objetive: To provide a comprehensive analysis of mortality trends from acute pesticide poisoning in Mexico 2000 through 2021. Methods: The governmental records deaths were used. age-standardized years life lost and aged-standardized rates estimated. Significant changes annual percentage change identified using Joinpoint regression. Results: Between 2021, was primarily observed individuals aged 15 to 19 years. Males the most affected. Self-inflicted primary registered reason for death. rate reduced 2012 2021 (APC: -4.4; p=0.003). Conclusion: This report is first study about Mexico. results provided evidence consider developing laws prevent poisoning.
