The
effectiveness
of
activated
carbon
green-synthesized
with
silver
phosphate
(AC-Ag/Ag3PO4)
for
the
removal
Rhodamine
B
(RhB)
dye
from
simulated
wastewater
using
a
UVA-assisted
photocatalytic
process
was
investigated.
AC-Ag/Ag3PO4
catalyst
synthesized
by
facile
co-precipitation
method,
and
its
structural,
physicochemical,
electronic
properties
were
evaluated
X-ray
diffraction
(XRD),
Fourier
transform
infrared
(FT-IR)
spectrometry,
scanning
electron
microscopy
(SEM-EDX),
thermogravimetric
nitrogen
sorption
analysis.
results
indicate
that
at
concentration
1
g.L−1
exhibits
remarkable
degradation,
achieving
95.31%
degradation
RhB
after
180
min
under
broadband
UVA
irradiation.
Investigating
elimination
mechanism,
h+
identified
as
key
to
elimination,
itself
contributing
or
through
generation
HO•.
Our
underline
potential
system
an
effective
method
treating
RhB-contaminated
wastewater,
offering
promising
implications
environmental
remediation.
