Reverse logistics provides a valuable perspective on productive processes, economic efficiency, social well-being, and environmental sustainability. Its implementation is essential at both macro micro levels, influencing government policies regulations as well individual businesses. Despite the clear benefits of reverse logistics, several barriers impede its execution. This article aims to analyze obstacles identified in literature regarding implementation. Specifically, it explores countries represented reviewed articles, business sectors involved, most frequently cited barriers, variations between with high low incidence rates. The research employed systematic review qualitative analysis sample articles. Key include shortage qualified personnel, insufficient governmental legislation, limited financial incentives investment. Notably, majority publications come from emerging countries, Brazil India leading volume. construction sector, recognized significant source waste, also exhibits highest number barriers. study offers comprehensive overview challenges implementing enhancing understanding how overcome these obstacles.

Introduction The transition to a circular economy is key pillar of European sustainable development. However, in the current context, shaped by multiple crises and geopolitical conflicts, efficiency resilience this are particular concern. policymakers national authorities must adapt their approaches mitigate risks posed external factors while ensuring progress towards sustainability goals. This study analyzes from 2010 2022, assessing economic environmental variables. Methods employs an econometric approach using panel data 27 EU Member States. A linear regression model with fixed effects applied alongside spectral analysis descriptive statistics examine relationships between private investment, gross value added, municipal waste recycling rates, recyclable material flows, greenhouse gas emissions. These methods allow for in-depth evaluation influencing transition. Results Findings indicate that investment integration materials significantly enhance economy. varies across States due regional disparities, inadequate infrastructure, inefficient management. High-emission countries face greater challenges achieving targets, demonstrating need tailored resilient policy measures. Discussion results highlight necessity public policies promote attractiveness sectors, reduce improve management infrastructure. The integration of renewable energy systems (RES) into microgrids faces challenges from technical, economic, and socio-environmental perspectives. Despite their potential to address access climate change challenges, RES-based face significant barriers, including technical complexities, economic constraints, socio-cultural resistance, regulatory inadequacies, environmental concerns. Some the issues, like intermittency lack compatibility with other sources, are managed by management (EMS) integrated battery systems. These barriers include high capital investment unpredictable revenue which addressable through chosen microgrid architecture, flexible payment structures, tariffs. Community opposition local knowledge overcome employing mitigation measures that pertain partaking in planning processes developing training programs. gaps addressed use standardized policy as well streamlined permitting procedures, while issues application life cycle assessment (LCA)-based solutions environmentally sustainable materials. Furthermore, paper addresses more recent developments, artificial intelligence (AI), peer-to-peer (P2P) trading, an emphasis on improvement prospects. Finally, implications presented, stressing need for systemic observed tendencies. This systematically reviews multifaceted integrating RES microgrids.
