The increasing global population, changing consumption patterns and climate change are putting significant pressure on food systems. There is a strong focus the development of sustainable systems that prioritize efficient use resources, reduce environmental impacts, ensure everyone has access to healthy nutritious food. Functional foods known for their high nutritional values beneficial bioactive components positively affect human health. Additionally, they have potential help waste. This review examines relationship between functional nutrition impacts waste in this context by referencing current academic literature. Also, detailed examination upcycled revalue attribute economic value according circular economy principles were given. It expected reducing will provide benefits environment, economy, health through inclusion practices foods.

Concerns about sustainable energy sources arise due to the non-renewable nature of petroleum. Escalating demand for fossil fuels and price inflation negatively impact security economy a country. The generation usage biofuel could be suggested as alternative fuels. Several studies have investigated potential using edible crops production. However, algae suitable feedstock is currently being promoted its ability withstand adverse environmental conditions, capacity generate more oil per area, mitigate crises climate change with no detrimental on environment food supply. Furthermore, biorefinery approach in algae-based production controls algal cultivation. Hence, this article critically reviews different cultivation systems critical parameters including harvesting methods, intended biofuels relevant processing techniques, other applications valorized biomass, merits demerits, limitations challenges

Seaweeds and their derived products have long been valued in organic agriculture, serving roles biofertilizers, biostimulants, soil conditioners due to rich content of bioactive compounds. With increasing concerns over the negative impacts synthetic agrochemicals on food security environmental health, seaweeds offer a sustainable alternative for improving fertility crop productivity. This review synthesizes recent findings use enhance physicochemical properties, stimulate beneficial microbial activity, improve nutrient availability. Furthermore, it highlights how seaweed applications can mitigate various abiotic stresses, such as droughts, salinity, deficiency, by enhancing antioxidant defenses promoting physiological biochemical resilience plants. Key agronomic benefits include improved seed germination, root development, photosynthesis, biomass accumulation, yield performance. By acting natural amendments, support management contribute long-term agricultural resilience. emphasizes urgent need standardized application strategies integrated research unlock full potential seaweed-based solutions farming systems.
