Recent studies have identified an association between perturbed type I interferon (IFN) responses and the severity of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). IFNα intervention may normalize dysregulated innate immunity COVID-19. However, details regarding its utilization therapeutic evidence yet to be systematically evaluated. The aim this comprehensive review was summarize current for COVID-19 treatment explore on safety efficacy. A clinical in literature prior December 1st, 2021, performed identify IFNα, which included route administration, number patients who received treatment, at initiation age range, time from onset symptoms dose, frequency, duration as well Encouragingly, no found against Early intervention, either within five days or hospital admission, confers better outcomes, whereas late result prolonged hospitalization.

Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), caused by the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2, continues to be a global concern. Traditional Chinese medicines (TCMs) are an important element of fight against COVID-19 in China. The combined application TCMs and conventional treatment has achieved beneficial results, including resolution symptoms, prevention progression, reduced mortality. In this review, we summarize discuss current applications with respect COVID-19, as well update preclinical clinical research, chemical analysis, molecular mechanisms, quality control, drug development, studies efficacy. expectation is that better understanding roles will improve response both China globally.

The epidemic has developed rapidly through China recent years. SFTS cases have been reported 25 provinces China, mainly distributed rural areas mountainous hilly areas. infection high case fatality rate no specific treatments or vaccinations. Therefore, early diagnosis treatment of important to survival disease control. In this article, we provide an overview on different aspects emphasis management, explore the current prophylactic measures further.

The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has caused a pandemic and upheaval that health authorities citizens around the globe are still grappling with to this day. While public measures, vaccine development, new therapeutics have made great strides in understanding managing pandemic, there been an increasing focus on potential roles of diet supplementation prevention adjuvant treatment. In literature, impact nutrition other respiratory illnesses, including common cold, pneumonia, influenza, widely demonstrated both animal human models. However, is much less research related COVID-19. present study discusses uses diets, vitamins, supplements, Mediterranean diet, glutathione, zinc, traditional Chinese medicine, infection severe illness. evidence demonstrating efficacy risk, duration, severity, recovery mixed inconsistent. More clinical trials necessary order clearly demonstrate contribution guide therapeutic protocols.

Context Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), is still ongoing and currently the most striking epidemic disease. With rapid global spread of SARS-CoV-2 variants, new antivirals are urgently needed to avert a more serious crisis. Inhibitors from traditional medicines or natural plants have shown promising results fight COVID-19 with different mechanisms action. Objectives To provide comprehensive approaches medical community in against this reviewing potential plant-derived anti-SARS-CoV-2 inhibitors. Methods Structural databases such as TCMSP (http://lsp.nwu.edu.cn/tcmsp.php), TCM Database @ Taiwan (http://tcm.cmu.edu.tw/), BATMAN-TCM (http://bionet.ncpsb.org/batman-tcm/) TCMID (http://www.megabionet.org/tcmid/), well PubMed, Sci Finder, Research Gate, Science Direct, CNKI, Web Google Scholar were searched for relevant articles on TCMs products SARS-CoV-2.Results Seven Chinese formulas unique advantages regulating immune system treating COVID-19. The compounds inhibitors identified based 5 key proteins, namely, angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE2), 3 C-like protease (3CLpro), papain-like (PLpro), spike (S) protein, nucleocapsid (N) protein. Conclusions A variety products, flavonoids, terpenoids, phenols, alkaloids, identified, which could be used SASR-Cov-2 inhibitors. These shed light efficient discovery products.

Abstract Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS‐CoV‐2) has caused the global disease 2019 (COVID‐19) pandemic since 2019. Immunopathogenesis and thromboembolic events are central to its pathogenesis. Quercetin exhibits several beneficial activities against COVID‐19, including antiviral, anti‐inflammatory, immunomodulatory, antioxidative, antithrombotic effects. Background: The outbreak of new coronavirus has tremendously threatened the public health system worldwide, including China. Chinese patent medicines (CPMs) have greatly contributed to prevention and treatment this viral infection, as well recovery patients with COVID-19 infection. Therefore, numerous experts guidelines recommend take CPMs treat pneumonia due COVID-19. Aim Study: present study reviewed recommended by < Guidelines for diagnosis management (8 th edition)> regarding evidence their efficacy from clinical studies underlying mechanisms, which will lay foundation use these Methods: composition, efficacy, indications, history use, relevant research on 14 CPMs, Huoxiangzhengqi capsules (pills, liquid, oral solution), Jinhuaqinggan granules, Lianhuaqingwen (granules), Shufengjiedu capsules, Xiyanping injections, Xuebijing Reduning Tanreqing Xingnaojing Shenfu Shengmai Angongniuhuang pills, Suhexiang were searched in both English databases based differences stages disease manifestations such patients. Advantages over conventional treatments mechanisms explored analyzing results published articles undergoing trials. Results: Findings experience using showed that when used combination treatments, effective managing few side effects. Conclusion: excellent a great potential use.

Background: The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) continues to spread globally. Due the higher risk of mortality, treatment severe or critical patients is a top priority. Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) has played an extremely important role in fight against COVID-19 China; timely evidence summary on TCM managing crucial update knowledge healthcare for better clinical management COVID-19. This study aimed assess effects and safety treatments severe/critical by systematically collecting synthesizing from randomized controlled trials (RCTs) observational studies (e.g., cohort). Methods: We searched nine databases up 19th March 2022 reference lists relevant publications. Pairs reviewers independently screened studies, extracted data interest, assessed bias. performed qualitative systematic analysis with visual presentation results compared direction distribution effect estimates each patient's outcome. sensitivity analyses observe robustness restricting low Results: search yielded 217,761 records, 21 (6 RCTs 15 studies) proved eligible.
