Petroleum hydrocarbons as pervasive pollutants pose a significant threat to soil ecology and human health. Surfactant washing an established technique can effectively remediate soils contaminated by hydrocarbons. Biosurfactants, which combine the properties of surfactants environmental compatibility, have attracted increasing interest. However, due high production cost biosurfactants, their practical application is restricted. This study addressed these limitations selecting two β-cyclodextrin (C1) sodium carboxymethyl cellulose (C2), developed promising cleaning agent formula through compounding addition suitable additives. When volume ratio C1 C2 was 8:2 8 g/L mixture humate carbonate electrolyte added, surfactant system's surface tension reached minimum, yielding optimal oil removal. The formation synergistic behaviour mixed micelles were explained using ideal solution theory Rubingh model. By optimising process parameters – normal temperature 25 °C, pH 11, time 2 h, solid–liquid 1:5, oscillation frequency 200 r/min removal rate achieved 76%. agent, characterised low cost, straightforward application, rapid, effect, shows potential for field-scale purification petroleum-contaminated soil.
